UX Executive · Spatial Computing & AI Wearables · Design Organization Leadership
I've spent 19 years at HTC shaping how people experience technology across three of the biggest platform shifts in computing — from the smartphone, to spatial computing, to today's AI-integrated wearables.
As Associate Vice President of UX Product Design at HTC Creative Labs, I led design at platform scale: I architected the VIVE Reality System, HTC's spatial OS across consumer and enterprise XR headsets; drove the end-to-end design of VIVE Eagle AI Glasses, HTC's first AI-integrated wearable; and earlier built the HTC Sense framework that defined Android UI across 200+ smartphone models, 185 carriers, and 80+ countries. I'm a named inventor on 30+ global patents in spatial interaction, system architecture, and interface design.
The work I'm proudest of was never any single product. It was building the infrastructure that makes quality possible across time — the shared systems, the team culture, and the structural foundations that survive product cycles, organizational change, and the particular chaos of shipping hardware and software together. Over those years I grew HTC's Taiwan design team from a production group into the company's global design authority, and served as primary UX advisor to executive leadership through repeated reinvention.
WHAT I FOCUS ON
Design systems & infrastructure · Spatial & multimodal UX · Building & leading global design orgs · Design-led AI adoption
The best design leadership is what lets great design keep happening — long after any one leader's fingerprints have faded.
If you're working on the next platform shift and thinking about the design leadership behind it, I'd be glad to connect.
